MATERIAL & CARE

We seek to provide pieces that are made to last. Our jewelry are made from 925 Silver or Stainless Steel, which both are rust-free material and easy to take care of. Proper caring and maintenance are necessary for any jewelry. Take care of your jewelry and it will shine for years.

925 Silver

925 Silver also known as Sterling Silver. It’s an alloy made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper.

925 Silver does not rust but is subject to tarnish (dull or darkened) when exposure to air over time. If you do not wear them frequently, we recommend storing it in our ziplock bag. If it gets tarnished, don't worry, just gently rub it with our free polishing cloth and it will shine again.

It’s waterproof and shower friendly because it won't rust, so rest assured that you can wear them daily. Hypoallergenic, most people will have no reaction or issues with 925 Silver.

Jewellery Care:

  • Try to keep your jewellery dry after contact with water.
  • Avoid contact with perfume, harsh chemicals and hot tubs.
  • When not it use, gently wipe off any dirt and store in a ziplock bag.
  • If it gets dull or darkened, gently rub it with our polishing cloth.

It will not rust and tarnish which makes it a shower friendly jewellery too. Hypoallergenic, most people will have no reaction or issues with Stainless Steel.

Gold Plated

Gold plating on 925 Silver and 316L Stainless Steel is the process in which a piece of metal is electroplated with a thick layer of 14k – 18k gold. It’s a natural process that gold plated items are subject to fade over time, this depends on many factors such as the sweat or chemical products on skin. However with proper care, your gold plated items can last for years.

We recommend taking off your gold plated jewelleries before contact with water. Although they won’t rust too, but to keep the gold plating layer long lasting, please avoid wearing them to shower and exercise.

Jewellery Care:

  • Avoid wearing when shower and exercise.
  • Avoid contact with perfume, harsh chemicals and hot tubs.
  • Only wipe off any dirt with a soft cloth and store in a ziplock bag when not in use.
  • Store it separately with other jewelleries to avoid scratches

Frequently Asked Questions

My hoop earrings won’t snap tightly closed, is it a defect?

Don't worry, this isn't a defect! The earrings don't click well because the post is not in place. This might happen when we try to open the earrings and accidentally adjust the post.

Gently pull the post towards an upwards position, so it can be securely clip on. You may have to make multiple adjustments to finally reach your desired tightness. Also, remember to be gentle while adjusting the post to avoid damage.

Why do some of my 925 Silver jewelleries tarnish easily? Why do some of my 925 Silver jewelleries aren’t the same silver colour?

Because some 925 Silver jewelleries are plated with Rhodium, some are not.

Rhodium Plated 925 Silver: Reflective mirror-like finish and darker greyish appearance. It can slow the eventual tarnishing effect.

Unplated 925 Silver: Bright and whitish in colour, features a more feminine look of jewelleries.
